Score 88/100 · Drink 2018-2028, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2016
Tasted blind at the Southwold 2012 tasting. The 2012 Château Olivier Blanc has an exuberant bouquet of Granny Smith apples, kiwi fruit and greengage, nicely defined with satisfying focus. The palate is fresh on the entry with fine delineation, citric fruit on the entry, sharp and "tangy," but it needs a little more depth and pulls up a little short. But otherwise, there is personality and charm to this white Pessac-Léognan. Tasted January 2016.

About the producer

Olivier
Ch. Olivier is one of the few actual castles in Bordeaux – coming with a moat and drawbridge. Since Alexandre de Bethmann took over here in 2012, the château has been given a new lease of life, with quality on the rise.
