Tasting notes
80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon Fragrant with caramelised fruit – very inviting. Sweet, ripe fruit and plenty of ripe body, but still refreshing. Good. (MJ)

A soft, herbaceous wine with notes of cherries, cedar, spice box, and earth, this straightforward 2002 is best drunk over the next 5-6 years. This is a property to watch, since the owners are making a renewed effort to improve the quality. Certainly the vineyard is well-located, on the plateau of St-Emilion, not far from Troplong Mondot and Trotteveille.
Mid crimson. Rather light nose. Gentle, easy, some freshness but it does lack fruity core. Stolid and correct. (JR)
Mid-crimson. Modern, oaky nose. Plump, full and fruity. Very flattering. A good example of a wine setting its cap firmly at the modern school. (JR)
