Tasting notes
Deep straw. He admits they might have picked a little earlier. Big and round – much, much lower acid than the other wines in this range. Already fully mature. Without much chiselling or structure. (JR)

Reticent, deeply pitched aromas of crushed stone, minerals and truffle. A step up in concentration from the preceding wines, with lovely energy to the peach, orange zest and mineral flavors. Nicely balanced, structured wine with firm acidity and very good mineral grip and thrust. Much less exotic than the Combettes.
Cask sample. Masses of acidity – I wonder whether some was added? -and very precise structure. Quite crackling with some lime notes. (JR)
Vibrant, highly perfumed nose offers peach, minerals and flowers. A step up in intensity and grip but still in an essentially gentle style. Enticing flavors of peach, citrus fruits and spices are supported by firm structure. Very stylish wine, finishing with lovely length.
