Tasting notes
Deep crimson with a pale rim. Lively, biscuity Lafitey nose. Low key. Light and flirtatious. Very correct. Pale version of Lafite. Bit hard at the end. (JR)

Promises more on the nose than it gives on the palate. Medium-ruby color, with a garnet edge. Fresh blackberry and mineral aromas. Medium-bodied, with firm tannins and a light finish.--1982 Bordeaux horizontal. Drink now.-James Suckling, Wine Spectator 1998
Saturated red. Subdued, pure aromas of red fruits and cedar, with a slightly candied nuance. Supple on entry, then subtle and fresh but a bit watery and bitter-edged. Ultimately lacks middle-palate material.
