Score 90/100 · Robert Parker
A terrific sleeper of the vintage from oenologist Pascal Chatonnet, this blend of 85% Merlot and the rest mostly Cabernet Franc (although I do believe there’s a tiny dollop of Malbec in the final blend) has surprising density, richness and a full-bodied mouthfeel. Deep ruby/plum purple, with loads of black currant, black cherry and smoky espresso notes, its copious quantities of fruit, in addition to glycerin, give the wine lots of texture, intensity and a full-bodied, long finish. This is a beauty to drink over the next 6-8years. Drink: 2013 - 2021. Wine Advocate #205 Feb 2013
