Tasting notes
Ruby-red. Expressive aromas of plum, mocha and leather. Sweet and surprisingly firm for the vintage, with good depth to the flavors of plum and licorice. Finishes with substantial dusty tannins and good length.

Fashioned by well-known oenologist Christian Veyry, this sleeper of the vintage exhibits a deep ruby/purple color along with pure, sweet notes of black cherries, earth, and smoky barrique. Ripe, fleshy, medium-bodied flavors display excellent purity, concentration, and balance. Enjoy this delicious Cotes de Castillon now and over the next 5-6 years.
Very deep purple. Racy with strongly charred notes and a bit hollow on the mid palate. (JR)
Bright, full ruby-red. Lively aromas of black cherry, blackberry, violet and licorice. Dense but juicy, with sweet flavors of dark berries, licorice and chocolate. Sound acids give this rather easygoing wine good life in the mouth. Finishes with firm tannins and plenty of personality. Based on 90% merlot. A very promising Cotes de Castillon wine.
