Good full red. Pungent, very ripe aromas of dark berries, redcurrant and minerals. Velvety, full and sweet; not the last word in complexity but round and fresh, finishing with very fine-grained tannins and sneaky length. This displays the sweetness of the vintage, but give it time in a carafe if you plan to open a bottle anytime soon.

Good deep red. Sexy red fruits, minerals, coffee, earth and game on the nose. The deepest and densest of these wines to this point, offering strong soil tones and lovely mouthcoating breadth. Mortet has worked this vineyard with a horse since 2006. Saturates the palate on the ripely tannic aftertaste.
