Score 88/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Pure aromas of pear, white flowers and minerals, plus a subtle hint of oak spice (in comparison to this wine, the Morgeot is downright dull). Fresh and lively in the mouth, with harmonious acids and fruit-driven flavors of tangerine, pineapple and peach. Nicely delineated. Finishes with good minerally austerity. The first of these '97s to show real freshness and cut.
