Score 89-91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2006

Medium red. Very ripe aromas of red fruits and spicy, resiny oak. Supple, sweet and easygoing, with very ripe red cherry and spice flavors given shape by harmonious acidity. Finishes with suggestions of leather and earth. Here, too, the vines are 100 years old, according to Laurent.
