(from very old, rented vines high on the hillside) Reticent nose hints at wet stone. Then fat, round and sweet but closed, showing more stone than fruit. A bit inscrutable today. There's very thin soil here, so these vines suffer in drought years like 2003, noted Niellon.

Pale, green-tinged color. Lime and white pepper on the brisk nose. Juicy but tightly wound; less open than the Vergers. Showing more stone than fruit today, but there's a lurking note of white peach and sound acidity. Finishes with very good length.
