Tasting notes
This is a very stylish, well made, full-bodied Larmande. The ripe blackberry, plum and cedar flavours have wonderful freshness and depth. This is a wine for long term aging -- it has a long length and very impressive layers of flavours. Jeannie Cho Lee MW asianpalate.com

Using 51% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc and a small portion Petit Verdot, the wine opens with licorice, blackberry and cassis scents. Medium/full bodied, the wine ends with a cherry, chocolate and fennel finish. 88-90 Jeff Leve winecellarinsider.com
A low-keyed minerality along with hints of fruit, earth and underbrush characterize the 2010 Larmande. With more stuffing and richness than recent vintages have possessed, it is an elegant, medium-bodied effort with light to moderate tannins. Drink it over the next 12-14 years. Wine Advocate.May, 2011
