Tasting notes
Score 76/100 · Drink 1990-2005, Robert Parker, Jan 1998

This is a disappointing effort from Belair. The medium ruby color appears slightly washed out, and the bouquet is closed, but does offer up some dusty, herbaceous, red-fruit scents. In the mouth, the wine is astringent, too tannic, and very austere, and finishes without any charm or concentration. Its future is suspect. Anticipated maturity: Now-2005. Last tasted, 3/90.
