Score 87/100 · Drink 2002-2009, Robert Parker, Apr 2002

The deep ruby/purple-colored 1999 Bonalgue is a very good effort. It offers mocha-infused, sweet black cherry fruit, low acidity, excellent texture, and a plump, fleshy finish. It is expressive as well as hedonistic. Anticipated maturity: now-2009.
