Score 88/100 · Drink 2018-2025, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, May 2018

The 1998 Bastor-Lamontagne is pale to medium gold in color and scented of lanolin, petrol and honeyed toast with a core of lemon marmalade and beeswax plus a waft of musk perfume. The palate is rich and unctuous, showing a lot of evolution though still possessing fruit, finishing earthy and long.
