Light crimson. Very light mineral nose. Quite solid structure on the palate with a beginning, middle and end but the fruit doesn’t seem brilliantly ripe. Slightly green notes on the end. (JR)

1 st Bottle: Dark and with a sheen. Like the 2 nd bottle, it has a slightly dodgy nose. Some notes of over-ripeness. Lots of green, austere chewiness. Not a happy whole. Very green. 2 nd Bottle: Fresh, quite green. New World sort of Cabernet cassis flavours. Certainly fresher than the first bottle, although a little raw and simple. (JR)

Sweet and rich on the nose. Much more developed than most and far from the purest expression of Pauillac. (JR)
