Last Tasted 12/91 Vividly pure, well-focused, black-raspberry aromas combine with smoky, toasty, new oak to provide a complete turn on. In the mouth, the wine is totally profound - elegant, rich, velvety, and a delight to drink. It should be consumed over the next 3-4 years.
About the producer

Henri Jayer
The wines of Henri Jayer (1922-2006) have mythical status in Burgundy. Coveted by many but tasted by just a precious few, they are some of the region’s rarest and most desirable – considered by some to be the pinnacle of what can be achieved with Pinot Noir.
