Score 88/100 · Robert Parker, Jan 1990
The Richebourg has a great deal of tannin, and is a full-bodied, structured wine. It was aged in 66% new oak casks in 1988. It is big and rich, but I did not think it had the overall character of Bernard Gros' splendid 1987.
