Good deep red. Wilder, more reduced aromas of black fruits and smoked meat. Rich, supple and stuffed with material; more tactile and powerful than the comparatively refined RSV, if a bit less high-pitched today. This is also more reduced, but there's plenty of energy here for mid-term aging.

Sweet red fruit, fine and zesty, firm tannins and oak seem to block the length and expression at the moment. Fresh and dry on the finish. (JH)
