Deep red-ruby. Captivating, high-pitched nose offers blackberry, rose petal, curry powder and white pepper, with sexy oak in the background. Silky on entry, then pungent and penetrating in the mid-palate, with superb intensity and clarity to the flavors of raspberry, minerals, rose petal, licorice and spices. This boasts marvelous inner-mouth floral perfume, with a saline, iodiney quality adding another element of complexity on the brisk, palate-staining. High class!
About the producer

Nicolas Potel is one of Burgundy’s most talented and connected winemakers. He created Maison Roche de Bellene, the négoce arm of Domaine de Bellene, in 2008, using his extensive network in the region to source top-quality fruit for an "haute couture" négociant operation.
