Score 88-91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Medium red. Less vibrant and expressive on the nose than the Pezerolles, with more earth and brown spices than primary fruit. Then sweet, sappy and deep in the mouth, with a flavor of red cherry. The Pezerolles is showier today, but this is ultimately denser and longer, with more dimension. Finishes with fairly substantial tannins.
