Good deep red. Rather tight nose hints at dark raspberry and cool black cherry, with meat and leather nuances emerging with air. Lively and suave in the mouth, with a sexy floral quality giving lift to the wine's smoky red fruit flavors. I find this a bit youthfully stunted today but it's structured and rich, with the power of the year. And lively ripe acidity gives the finish excellent grip.

Deep, full ruby. High-toned, complex nose offers currant, flowers, nutty oak, tobacco, spices and an earthy element. Dense, lush and concentrated, with a suave, fine-grained texture. There's plenty of material here.
