Score 85/100 · Drink 1993-2000, Robert Parker, Feb 1993
The 1989 reveals the super-ripe, plum and black fruit character of the vintage. It is a surprisingly intense and extracted wine, with a good amount of tannin in the finish, and an alcohol level of 13-13.5%. It is one of the most impressive wines I have tasted from this vineyard. Anticipated maturity: 1993-2000.
