Score 88-91/100 · Drink 2005-2020, Robert Parker, Apr 2005

The 2003 Gaby is strong, powerful, unusually full-bodied, concentrated, and dense as well as elegant and pure. This noteworthy sleeper of the vintage should age nicely for 10-15 years.

A very un-Fronsac, even un-Bordelais wine with its exaggerated ripeness and concentration. (JR)

Score 86-89/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2004

Ruby-red. Sweet aromas of cherry and flowers. Silky and generous in the middle, with slightly medicinal flavors of red cherry and smoky oak. Another Canon-Fronsac 2003 with noteworthy pliancy of texture. Finishes with fairly sweet tannins.
