Tasting Notes
There is just enough reduction to knock down the nose though I doubt that it will last for more than a few months as the underlying fruit seems quite ripe. The impressively rich and overtly powerful and full-bodied flavors brim with an abundance of dry extract that confers a wonderfully textured, indeed almost chewy mouth feel onto the palate coating and almost bone dry finish; indeed this is exceptionally dry in the context of the vintage. In a vintage where relatively few truly knockout whites were made, this is one of them. Tasted: Jun 15, 2014. Drink: 2022+
