Score 90-92/100 · Neal Martin
Tasted at the Pomerol Syndicate tasting. A blend of 91% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc, this has an agreeable light bouquet of brambly red-berried fruit that shows good definition. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, quite refined on the mid-palate with very fine definition on the spice-tinged finish. Very assured, does not put a foot wrong but needs to express more terroir post-bottling. Tasted April 2010.

Glowing crimson. Meaty, savoury nose. Relatively lightweight but attractive for the short term.
