I had high hopes for this wine from barrel, but it has narrowed significantly (as have many 2002s) since bottling. Like many of its peers, it seems to be dropping its fruit at an advanced pace. Pleasant but superficial, it does not display the depth or texture it possessed last year. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.
