The 2009 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Marina Cvetic, a house flagship, presents the richer, riper side of this indigenous variety. The trademark Masciarelli richness is in full evidence, but at the same time it is obvious the French oak is very nicely balanced and integrated here. Layers of peach, apricot, flowers and spices all meld together gracefully. There is an element of brightness that gives the wine an attractive sense of lift and precision.
