One of the finest Tertre Daugays I have tasted (although the 2009 is also attractive), this sleeper of the vintage exhibits a dense purple color as well as copious aromas of sweet kirsch, black fruits, licorice and graphite. Medium to full-bodied with a corpulent, layered mouthfeel, light to moderate tannins and a spicy, heady finish, it should drink well for 10-12 years.

Very sweet and rich. Quite winning and it seems to utilise the concentration of 2010 without going over the top. (JR)

A round balanced St Emilion with reserved blackberry and plum fruits. This is a restrained style with velvety, ripe tannins and a fairly long finish. Jeannie Cho Lee MW asianpalate.com
