Tasting notes
Dark red. Aromas of cherry, redcurrant and tobacco. Fat, plump and sweet, with moderate intensity and an enticing juicy quality. Finishes with dusty, ripe tannins.

Dark ruby/purple-tinged in color with notes of cedar, black currant, cherry, and licorice, this wine is attractive, medium-bodied, and stylish with good sweet fruit and a moderately endowed finish with no hard edges. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.
Good healthy colour, attractive lift on the nose. Silky texture. A refreshing drink in the medium term if perhaps with some slightly underripe ingredient in the blend. Neat tannins. (JR)
