Complex aromas of lemon and white flowers. Sweet, slightly high-toned and brisk, with expressive lemon and spice flavors and an enticing floral element. Very fresh, classic and dry, with a juicy quality on the finish that perks up the salivary glands. Like the Clos du Cromin, this is still shocked by the bottling but its freshness and class are obvious.

Cask Sample Smooth. Creamy. Fine. Competent. Always very restrained, yet concentrated. Very good. Quite long. (JR)

Less perfumed and more reticent on the nose: citrus fruits and hazelnut. Sweet, fat and rich, with more depth and more verve. The most substantial 2004 to this point, finishing with excellent length.
