1998 Meursault Les Tillets

Aromatic, noble nose of nut skin, lemon, butter: very Meursault. Smooth, glyceral and sweet; in a gentle style, but with enough acidity for balance. More time on the lees will give this wine more minerality while keeping it fresh, says Javillier. A second component of this wine, with a bit more lees, was at once fatter and more delineated, with noteworthy clarity of texture.
