2011 Musigny

(30% vendange entier, the rest of the fruit destemmed by hand): Good full red. Blueberry and white pepper on the nose, with a slightly high-toned character. Sweet and fine-grained in the mouth; at once delicate and powerful, with a zesty quality to its flavors of raspberry liqueur, minerals and blood orange. Finishes very long and energetic, with substantial broad tannins. Here the stem element is in harmony with the wine's fruit.
