1995 Eileen Hardy's Shiraz

Bright, saturated ruby-purple color. Brooding aromas of cassis, cherry pit, baking spices, smoked duck, soy sauce, minerals and eucalyptus. Great freshness and snap in the mouth; dense, concentrated, superripe cassis and black raspberry flavors are complicated by mineral and minty components. Powerful and primary, but already displays compelling inner-mouth perfume. Very long, slow-building finish features substantial tannins.
