The Meursault Les Chevalieres has bright, rather rich mineral and honeysuckle aromas that give way to its citrusy, earthy, and floral character. This expansive wine is dense, thickly-textured, and medium-to-full-bodied. Its finish, similar to the previous offering's, prevented me from getting overly excited. Nonetheless, it is opulent, delicious, and concentrated, meriting serious attention. Drink it over the next 6 years. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel (510) 524-1524.
