Tasting notes
Good medium red. Cool, vibrant nose combines cherry, bitter chocolate, minerals, mint, licorice and leather, all lifted by a peppery nuance. Suave, penetrating and sharply delineated; a lovely expression of terroir rather than a fruity style. Intriguing notes of minerals, earth and pepper. Mounts slowly and lingers impressively on the back, giving an impression of strong extract.

Good dark red. Pure, penetrating aromas of cherry, minerals and mint. Intensely flavored and gripping, with spicy flavors similar to the aromas. Complex and rather powerful Savigny, finishing pure, firm, spicy and long, with rather suave tannins. This is aging in 30% new oak, vs. 10% to 25% for the other crus here.
