Tasting notes

Tasting notes
Score 76/100 · Robert Parker, Jan 1997

The first time I tasted the 1988 from the bottle it was completely corked and impossible to judge. The second bottle displayed a slight mustiness that could have been the beginning of a bad cork problem. On the palate, it was watery, light, and thin. I would hate to think that Gilles Barge had a significant problem with bad corks in 1988. Last tasted 6/93.
