Tasting notes
Pale greenish-yellow. Pungent, mineral-driven bouquet of lemon rind, grapefruit, pear skin and honeysuckle. Dry and precise, with tightly wound citrus and mineral flavors and a hint of kerosene. Finishes nervy and very persistent. This extremely young wine offers excellent potential.

Smart but tense nose, not giving anything anyway; on the palate, sleek and concentrated fruit with great balance of acid and power but no development. (RH)
Very pale greenish straw. Extremely young and steely. Tasted less austere after the crisp pork salad which brought out its herbal qualities. Extremely persistent and, as I wrote when recommending it as a wine of the week, richer than some other recent vintages. (JR)
