Dark crimson. Rather glossy and sophisticated on the nose. This almost tastes like a classed growth! Lovely stuff. Beautifully rich but fluid and refreshing. (JR)
45% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot. Very healthy deep crimson. A hint of green on the nose. Impressive blend of concentration and suppleness on the palate. May not be the most refreshing 2010 but a lot of work has gone into it! (JR)
Slightly raw purple colour. Medium ripeness and some savoury yeast extract notes on the nose. Very fragrant in relatively lean mode. Very sweet start and pretty lightweight. Not trying too hard but perfectly serviceable. Very clean, brisk finish. A second sample had much more density and pretty much sang with delight at this vintage. (JR)
