Tasting notes
Score 85/100 · James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, Dec 2013

This has given way to the remnants of a sinewy, cedary spine, with dried blood orange and bitter cherry notes and flickers of clove and tobacco. Almost a shell of a wine now, but still there's elegance and length hanging on, as the DNA of the vineyard lingers. -- Non-blind Château Margaux vertical

A surprisingly deep garnet core with tawny rim. A muted nose of black tea and earth - all a bit non-descript. The palate is weedy with high acidity and beginning to fall apart (though gracefully I might add.) Drink up.
