Score 92/100 · Drink 2005-2015, Robert Parker, Oct 2005

From Langhorne Creek, the 200-case cuvee of 2003 Shiraz Harry and Edward’s Garden is classically southern Australian, displaying notes of loamy soil, blackberries, cassis, smoke, and toasty oak. This rich, full-bodied impressive Shiraz should drink well for a decade. This brilliant operation is a credit to the meticulous winemaking of Michael Twelftree and his staff! Dark ruby. Earthy, musky aromas of dark cherry and plum, with a suggestion of chocolate. A firmly structured shiraz that nonetheless offers good pliancy of texture. Flavors of cherry and dark berries, plus a slightly salty chocolate note. This is more "winey" today than the Max's bottling and drinking nicely right now.
