(fully half of this cuvee is second-generation fruit, according to Coche) Superripe aromas of peach and orange. Wonderfully sweet, rich and full, but with a purity of fruit flavor and shapeliness rare for the vintage. Rather elegantly styled but undeniably a fruit bomb. This has turned out very well.

Peach, spices, nuts and smoke on the nose, along with some exotic licorice and honey notes. Much less subtle in the mouth than the Rougeots, with flavors of dried fruits and baking spices. Here the wine's oak component dries the aftertaste a bit.
