Coche's 1991 Meursault 1er Cru Perrières is showing brilliantly in a rather extrovert, flamboyant style. Bursting with aromas of ripe citrus fruits, drawn butter, hazelnuts and gunpowder smoke, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and fleshy, with a rich core of fruit, ripe acids and a long, expansive finish.
