Score 90/100 · Robert Parker, Dec 1992
Last Tasted 4/92 To date, this is the only Coche-Dury wine I have tasted that appears to have admirably stood the test of time. The wine displays a medium golden color, huge, roasted nut and baked apple aromas, stunningly rich, unctuous, chewy flavors, surprisingly crisp acidity, and a blockbuster, alcoholic finish. I see no signs of this wine losing its fruit, or becoming oxidized or stale.
