Tasting notes
Reticent, deeply pitched aromas of pineapple and liquid stone. Rich and racy, with terrific precision and cut. A strongly stony wine with superb inner-mouth aromatic character. The citrus oil notes are currently dominated by steely minerality. As bracing as the Genevrieres, finishing with superb clarity and persistence. Grand cru quality.

A background note of wood spice highlights exquisitely expressive and finely detailed white flower perfume that is incredibly nuanced and complex. The intensely mineral flavors are unbelievably pure and there is a silky texture here yet the cut and delineation are superb. To be sure, this is an edgy wine with a stony character that is so intense that it defines the character of the wine. In sum, this is classically styled, deeply complex and possesses flat out wonderful purity. Wow!
Cool, yet rich. Some liquorice and minerality. Nice and taut. Needs time. Lime sherbet. (JR)
