Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2005-2012, Pierre Rovani, Feb 2004
A sensual, light to medium-bodied, yellow plum-scented wine, the 2002 Meursault-Perrieres is a satiny-textured, soft effort. It reveals a powerful underlying minerality, gorgeous depth, and a pure, lush, prolonged finish. Projected maturity: 2005-2012. Maison Louis Latour has a different importer in each state.

About the producer

Louis Latour
The Latour family has been growing vines in Burgundy since at least 1731. Their négociant business – today one of the region’s biggest names – was founded in 1797. Still family-owned today, the company owns 48 hectares of vines, 27 of which are Grand Cru, as well as its own cooperage.
