Tasting notes
Wet stone minerality dominates pear on the nose. Juicy, dry and powerful, with pear and apple fruit and a strong crushed stone character. Impressively dense, broad and dry, but extremely young, even if it's already quite aromatic in the mouth. The wine's flesh is hidden today by its piquant acids.

A crystalline wine of purity and detail, the mineral and stone-scented 2002 Meursault Perrieres displays quartz and gravel flavors. This concentrated, light to medium-bodied and fresh wine is lively and satiny-textured. Projected maturity: 2007-2015. Importer: Kobrand, Inc., New York, NY; tel. (212) 490-9300
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
