Tasting notes
(bottled in April of 2004) Pure, deep aromas of minerals and smoke. Large-scaled, broad and very dry, with flavors of crushed stone and smoke. Superripe, yet it makes the Puligny-Montrachet Combettes taste almost sweet by comparison. Spreads out impressively in the mouth and on the oaky finish. This was aged in 100% new oak.

A wine with a seductive nose, the buttered spice-scented 2002 Meursault Perrieres bursts on the palate with rich, apple-laced minerals. This lush, velvety-textured effort has a resin-like core that lingers throughout its exceptional finish. This powerful yet refined gem should be consumed between 2006 and 2014.
