Score 90-93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jul 2006

Piquant aromas of pineapple, underripe peach, lemon and minerals. Juicy, tight and high-pitched; pure, vibrant and minerally, with the wine's stoniness giving it a very dry impression. Even a bit youthfully rigid today, but this just completed its malo and is very unevolved. I find this to be a more classic version of Perrieres than the majority of the 2005 examples I tasted from this vineyard. (I did not taste Boillot's Meursaults Charmes, Poruzots or Cras, as they had barely started their malolactic fermentations.)
