Tasting notes
The 2011 Meursault Charmes is another absolutely classic Colin-Morey wine. Intensely mineral and tense, the 2011 boasts fabulous focus, not to mention tremendous overall balance. In 2011, Colin-Morey's Perrieres is quite Charmes-like, while the Charmes has much more of the mineral-drenched intensity and pure power that I generally associate with Perrieres. There is a lot going on in the 2011 Meursault Charmes.

In the middle of Lafon’s parcel. Under Perrières. Quite high. Before it was made by Lafon (20 years ago). Real tingle and excitement. Racy and nerve but great depth. Very similar to Lafon’s actually. Some minerals and great tension on the finish. Long. (JR)
