Score 92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2007
(alcohol close to 14%) Good pale color. Smoky, reduced nose shows a faint lactic quality to go with its citrus and baked bread aromas. Fat, sweet and full in the mouth, with rich citrus flavors supported by solid minerality. A big, plump, compellingly ripe wine with excellent fruit and a long, suave finish. At this point in our tasting, Jobard told me that he is usually among the later pickers in the village but that in 2005 he was among the first.
